How MINTCLIP works, in plain language.
MINTCLIP lets anyone create a token on Solana, launch it with a market from the first trade, and trade it from a terminal-style token page.
You need a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, Backpack or any Wallet Standard wallet). MINTCLIP never asks for your seed phrase, private key or password: your wallet signs every transaction and you see what you sign.
This build is a demo: every token, price and transaction is simulated and labeled DEMO.
Four steps: Details (name, ticker, logo, description, optional links), Configure (launch asset and creator fee), Review (every fee and authority) and Launch (one signature).
Supply (1,000,000,000) and decimals (6) are fixed by the launch mechanism. MINTCLIP only shows options the protocol really supports.
Tokens launch on a bonding curve: the price rises as tokens are bought from the curve and falls as they are sold back. No initial liquidity deposit is needed.
When the curve reaches its target, liquidity graduates to an AMM pool. The LP tokens are burned or locked according to the MINTCLIP platform config, and the token page shows the result.
The trade panel shows, before you confirm: what you pay, what you receive, price impact, minimum received (from your slippage), every fee line, the network fee, and the total.
If the pool moves beyond your slippage before execution, the trade fails rather than filling at a worse price.
Creation fee 0.01 SOL. Trading: 0.75% MINTCLIP protocol fee + creator fee (0.25%) + Raydium LaunchLab fee (0.25%) + network fee.
See Fees for the full breakdown and its limits after graduation.
Creators earn their chosen creator fee on every trade of their token. Fees accumulate in a vault; the creator claims them from the creator dashboard with a signed transaction. The program prevents double claims.
MINTCLIP never pays rewards for trading volume, so there is no incentive to fabricate it.
Every token page states objective facts: mint, freeze and metadata authorities, liquidity status, creator holdings, top-10 concentration, age and activity signals.
MINTCLIP never labels a token "safe". VERIFIED means we matched the token to a MINTCLIP launch; it is not an endorsement. Automated signals (unusual volume, wallet clusters) are shown as FLAGGED, REVIEW or UNKNOWN, never as accusations.
Read endpoints (demo data in this build):
GET /api/fees GET /api/tokens?tab=trending&q= GET /api/tokens/trending GET /api/tokens/:address GET /api/tokens/:address/holders GET /api/tokens/:address/trades GET /api/tokens/:address/chart?interval=1m|5m|15m|1h|4h|1D POST /api/launch/prepare
Every response includes meta.source, meta.freshness (demo, cached, real-time) and meta.updatedAt. Clients can never set fee amounts, fee recipients or treasury addresses.
Is MINTCLIP a token? No. MINTCLIP is a platform to create, launch and trade tokens.
Does MINTCLIP say which tokens will go up? No. Rankings describe recent activity only.
Can a creator change the fee after launch? No. The creator fee is fixed at launch (0.25%).
